In fact, it&#8217;s a Volvo. Or at least it started out that way when it was new in the 1960&#8217;s, but now&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.davintosh.com\/2015\/08\/21\/bmwotd-damn-swedes\/attachment\/5901225492\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4467\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4467\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.davintosh.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/5901225492-400x300.jpg?resize=400%2C300\" alt=\"5901225492\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s a BMW 4.0L M6x V8, with a little tweaking and forced induction (via a pair of turbochargers) that makes it good for about 750HP. And then it uses the drivetrain from a Nissan GT-R to make it AWD. Judging from the rest of the photos, I&#8217;m thinking the engine &amp; drivetrain are just the beginning of the list of modifications done to this car. Not much Volvo left.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/bringatrailer.com\/2015\/08\/19\/turbo-bmw-v8-skyline-gt-r-drivetrain-750-hp-volvo-amazon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">for sale on BAT<\/a> right now for ~$41,000.
